The Australian Law Librarians Association (Western Australia Division) (ALLA (WA)) is an incorporated association and part of the national Australian Law Librarians Association.
The WA Division's membership is comprised of librarians, or people who have an interest in law librarianship. Our members are drawn from the Court libraries, academic libraries, government departments, accounting firms and law firms.

About ALLA (WA)
The ALLA (WA) Division is run on a voluntary basis by a Committee that is elected at the end of each year.
The Committee's aims are to promote the work of ALLA (WA) members, provide opportunities for professional development, hold information sessions, create opportunities for librarians to network with other librarians, publishers and outside organisations that can further the resources and services we can offer our own organisations.
We welcome all participation from members, even if it’s just an idea for a future event or an idea for an ALLA (WA) Blog post. Members are also invited to attend committee meetings and details of these will be shared to our members in the lead up to each meeting.

ALLA (WA) also aims to lobby for greater access to primary legal information, and to maximise the availability generally of legal information. We aim to provide a clear line of communicaton between ALLA (WA) members and the ALLA Ltd. Board, and we liaise with the national ALLA and interstate Divisions on matters of mutual concern.

ALLA (WA) is a registered not for profit organisation with the ACNC.
Communications
The ALLA (WA) Division Committee communicates with it members via a number of channels, and will contact members directly via electronic mail. Members can contact the Committee directly via email.
ALLA (WA) encourages all ALLA members to Stay Connected and to Stay Informed via their mailing list and social media channels which include the ALLA (WA) Blog, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
The ALLA (WA) Committee is proud to also operate the Law Librarians Australia Facebook and Instagram pages, a joint project with the ALLA Victoria Division.
