Over the past year, Clare has carried out interviews with a number of legal information professionals to find out how they are transforming their firm’s current awareness delivery - they all faced various challenges/frustrations and have gone on to implement solutions to drive them to greater success and visibility. Clare takes two common themes from these interviews: (1) dealing with an avalanche of information and (2) putting power in to the hands of your end-users. We hope to generate some discussion and engage in some knowledge sharing.

Clare believes a satisfying career should be intellectually stimulating and constantly mutating, so thankfully she opted for a life in information provision. For 20+ years she implemented, improved and managed information services within commercial, legal and governmental contexts. But the most interesting career challenge to date was her move to the supplier/tech side. She is determined to use her in-house experience to improve supplier/information service relationships because it is more important than ever to work together in innovative ways.  She now spends her time working with a cutting edge aggregation platform, assisting and advising clients, writing user guides and producing web content.
